Adoption and automation in order operations

My work at Nike connected regional adoption, operational detail and small, practical automation.

Role context

I managed EMEA adoption of an order-cancellation platform. My focus was helping a regional operation put an existing platform into practice. It required attention to the real process around the technology: how people understood the change, how questions surfaced and how operating needs connected to the implementation.

I also built Python workflows for bills of lading. This was a different scale of delivery, but it raised a related question: where can repetitive operational handling be simplified while keeping the work clear and reviewable?

Questions this work raised

  • What must be understood about a process before changing or automating it?
  • How should regional adoption work connect with the product or platform being introduced?
  • Which checks should remain visible when a repetitive workflow becomes automated?
